Production Specialist II aka Toothpaste Technician

Base wage: $22.50 - $24.10 / hour

With bonuses: $23.65 - $27.10 / hour

Hiring bonus (after 90 days): $1000

SHIFT: MONDAY - THURSDAY, 7 AM - 5:30 PM

Location: Uncle Harry's factory, Redmond, Washington

Production Specialist II duties and responsibilities:
-Mastery of all Production Assistant and Production Specialist duties (Filling, bottling, capping, and labeling all products. Setting up and breaking down projects. Cleaning before and after projects.)
-Identify when Assistants or Specialists need further training or help to complete projects according to existing SOPs. Guide, correct, or offer advice to Assistants or Specialists in a friendly manner. Notify Supervisor or Manager when retraining or additional guidance is needed.
-Learn and master QC of all products. Identify QC issues, suggest improvements to QC process, and guide or correct others on QC work
-Lead QC meetings as needed
-Learn how to make Tooth Powder and Toothpaste WIPs, including preparation and machine operation
-Learn how to operate Toothpaste filling machine
-Capable of being assigned to Tooth Powder WIP, Toothpaste WIP, or Toothpaste fill as needed by Supervisors or Managers which includes prepping for next day’s schedule.
-Upon completion of trial period which includes 3 batches of each product you will be considered for the position of Specialist II, additionally knowledge of the machines and how to operate them.
-Cross train with Shipping department to learn picking, checking, and packing
-Completion of occasional special projects, such as SOP writing, process improvement, or organization

Required capabilities
-Strong attention to detail
-Lifting up to 60 pounds
-Full range of motion of arms and legs: squatting, bending, twisting, raising arms above head
-Excellent hand-eye coordination
-Capable of repetitive motion during 10 hour shift
-Capable of standing for majority of 10 hour shift
-Able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment
